PLENARY SESSION 1: Driving Digital Transformation for an Inclusive, Sustainable & Resilient Digital Economy – The Impact of Sustainability and Investment on Technology.
Elina is the Country Head for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Indonesia, owning complete profits and loss responsibility for the growing market and to execute growth strategy for TCS businesses in the Indonesia region.
She also heads the Life Sciences and Healthcare business unit for TCS in the Asia Pacific region, with primary focus on helping enterprises in their digital transformation journey through cutting-edge solutions and technologies. As the founder for this business unit in APAC, Elina leverages on the strong ecosystem to enable clients to be agile and embrace risk in the fast-evolving business landscape.
In a largely male-dominated industry, Elina is an inspiration to the next generation of women in technology as she was the first few female country heads to be appointed in TCS. She aspires to further develop a diverse and inventive digital future for more diversity, equity and inclusion. Elina firmly believes that a gender-diverse workforce can bring about greater experiences, knowledge, and skills to the table, which is imperative for economic success and global competitiveness.
Elina obtained her Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Cambridge with concentration in Innovation, Arts and Media Management, and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from University of Electronic Science and Technology in China (UESTC).
Fluent in English and Chinese and conversant in Cantonese, Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese, Elina is a member of Asia Marketing Federation with deep focus on promoting business in APAC region. She was also awarded by Ernest & Young as the “China Women in Business Network – Young Achiever of the Year” in 2011.
