Rita is responsible for stakeholder management, government strategies and overseeing policy-to-market initiatives encompassing ICT Technology, Digital Economy and Smart Solutions.
Prior to this, Rita was a Senior Manager in the Performance Management & Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), a unit under the Prime Minister’s Department. PEMANDU’s main role and the objective were to oversee the implementation, assess the progress, facilitate, as well as to support the delivery and drive the progress of the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). Spanning about a decade prior, Rita held several positions in PETRONAS and PROTON Bhd.
Rita has about 21 years of experience encompassing public policy, transformation advisory, programme strategy & implementation, and category management. Rita read Chemical Engineering (Petrochemical & Process) at University Technology PETRONAS.
