Participated in PEMANDU Strategic Reform Initiatives and recommended to the government for Cyber Security Safety Standards Act and Risk Management Framework.
Development of Rangka Kerja Keselamatan Siber untuk Sektor Awam (RAKKSSA) with MAMPU, CGSO, MIMOS and Majlis Keselamatan Negara. Involved in the development of Data Leakage Protection paper for Majlis Keselamatan Negara. Committee member for Thematic Kluster Digital Ekonomi working group chaired by YBM KKMM. The projects carried out are such the NFCP and Digital ID. Successfully organized annual event CyberSecurity Malaysia – Awards Conference and Exhibition (CSM-ACE) from 2009 to 2019; average attendance of 2000 cybersecurity professionals and more than 40 exhibiting companies. Organized CyberSecurity Malaysia Job Fair in April 2021 with the participation of 16 companies and more than 1000 job-seekers.
Authored business plans with consultants from Digital Equipment and Cisco for the establishment of an Internet Exchange and an electronic-commerce Automotive Network Exchange. Conducted an electronic commerce awareness seminar for Telekom Malaysia that resulted in securing two Value Added Network (VAN) licenses for re-selling of bandwidth from British Telecom and for Equant (www.equant.com) to operate in Malaysia.
