MR. ARFAN ARLANDA is a technology entrepreneur with over 20 years of professional experience in various vertical industries across the Asia Pacific region and worldwide. He spent most of his career as a global tech consultant working with tech startups and multi-national companies in different continents.
Arfan was an senior engineer in a tech company based in Seattle, Washington, and later on, he joined Microsoft’s technology team. He received many achievement awards; such as Microsoft Valuable Professional, Microsoft Key Talent, Great People Great Performance, and Circle of Excellence: Platinum Award – as the best consultant worldwide – which is the highest achievement award in Microsoft Corp organization.
He was then leading the Microsoft Cloud business in Indonesia’s enterprise market before starting his very own Data and Artificial Intelligence venture, named Nawatech, that now turned into a group of technology companies, with more than 200 engineers. In 2018, he founded Jejakin, a climate-tech company focusing on carbon management platform to accelerate actions in adapting and mitigating the climate crisis using technology.
Arfan is also currently active in several associations and councils, such as the Sustainability Advisory Council at Gojek, Indonesia Carbon Trade Association, the Head of Industry for ITS (Intelligent Transport System) Indonesia to amplify more sustainable and eco-friendly transportation, Indonesia Sustainable Tourism Council (ISTC), and co-founder of Youth Energy and Environment Council (YEC) of Indonesia.
