Having begun her career in 1992 with the Ministry of Human Resources, Mahuran has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management and has a wide knowledge and experience in human capital strategy & development as well as industrial relation management.
In her current capacity, Mahuran works closely with stakeholders from federal and state governments/agencies, industry players, employer federations, labour unions and international agencies in conducting research studies on human capital requirements, including demand and supply talent/skills.
Mahuran holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Business Administration from the University of Creighton. She is a member of the NAM Institute for the Empowerment of Women (NIEW) and enrols in the Women’s Directors Programme (WDP).
